The journey has been far from easy. Today, while celebrating my achievements, my heart remains with the many talented young artists from similar backgrounds who struggle for recognition and opportunity.
Even as a child navigating hardship, a creative spark flickered within me. With no formal training, I found my canvas in the mud and sand of our village, shaping the landscape with innocent artistry. Despite the isolation that poverty often brings and the relentless harassment from within the extended family, I refused to be broken. Instead, these experiences fueled a quiet determination.
Slowly, I began to recognize myself as an artist. Understanding the transformative power of education, I persevered, completing my higher secondary studies at PRM College Sarat, Mayurbhanj. Driven by a desire for personal and familial growth, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in the BK College of Art and Craft in Bhubaneswar to pursue my passion for visual art.
This pivotal step led to the discovery of my true calling: sand art. Through dedication and countless hours of practice, I honed my skills, transforming fleeting grains into enduring expressions of creativity. This unique art form has since taken me across India and even internationally, allowing me to share my vision with the world.

A significant milestone in my artistic career came in 2015 when I proudly secured the 1st position in the State Level Sand Art Competition held at Puri Sea Beach, Odisha – a testament to perseverance and passion.
My story is not just about personal triumph, it’s about the potential that lies within every individual, regardless of their circumstances. It’s about transforming struggle into art and using that art to inspire and uplift others. I am committed to creating opportunities for aspiring artists, fostering a landscape where talent is nurtured and dreams can take flight, just as mine did from the humble sands of my village.
